It started as it usually does: Jaime wanted to start an improv team. Luckily they had the great fortune of already knowing a bunch of fantastic improvisers from their years of teaching improv. So they asked Josh, Sameer, Dan, and Ciera if they’d like to join in. Thankfully, they obliged. Incepted in the fall of 2025, Family Practice takes UCB-style game of the scene and twists it into a swirling longform arc, incorporating experimental edits and weirdo characters. 100% organic.
